Summary: Serpents are bad enough when they’re small, but when they get bigger, what they lose in venom and agility is sheer strength and ferocity. In the case of these genetically-modified reticulated pythons, they managed to keep all of that instead, and then some. We're doomed.

History: Developed as perfect superweapons, these pythons were once well-contained until one ended up escaping from its confines, crashing the plane it was in, and resumed life by terrorizing the small town of Ruby, California. After that was said and done, it was revealed that several more giant pythons were living in the Ural Mountains.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The first python was slammed into a vat of acid by a press, burning its guts out from the inside. The rest were blown up by bombs in Russia.

Powers/Abilities: The pythons have ridiculously sharp tails to slice prey, as well as acidic spit to burn away at things. They also have bulletproof hides.

Weakness: Acid (ironically), electricity, heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3-No amount of scary violent powers or the mere thought of being squeezed to death can hide the pythons from the awful CGI that brings them to life. At the very least, they try to act scary with all the roaring and digital acid.

Trivia: -As we've stated before, reticulated pythons are some of the longest snakes around. As for how often they eat humans, its actually rather terrifyingly common where they live, though many a python has accidentally killed itself biting off more than it can chew.

-Apparently, they did make a practical full-scale python head for the first film, but it was never seen. The most practical the effects get is for its tail.
